Channel Zero t-shirt reissue

Jim Sez: AWESOME!!!

brianwood:

Back by popular demand (literally, in this case), the Channel Zero t-shirt from 2001.  Since this ran out that same year, I still get requests for more, see people wearing their battered remains at conventions.  So here it is, slightly updated, still the classic message, for pre-orders.

The run of shirts will be limited to pre-orders + an extremely small overprint, and then will be retired permanently.

Depending on how this goes, more shirts will be coming.. both reissues and original designs.

JIM SEZ:
Jules will enjoy this:

Jim Sez: Not only is McKelvie a great artist, his women look like women instead strippers with broken spines. I think this is a GORGEOUS mix of new and old to give Carol Danvers a new chance at capturing an audience. Please buy this when it comes out as Kelly Sue DeConnick is a fantastic writer and the interior art looks lovely.
mckelvie:

So it was just announced at Wondercon that Kelly Sue DeConnick will be writing a new ongoing Captain Marvel (formerly Ms. Marvel) series, with Dexter Soy on interiors and Ed McGuinness on covers. I had the privilege of designing Carol’s new costume. Our idea was to give her a kind of swash-buckling costume that invoked a sense of her history as an Air Force officer. Her hair is slicked back at the sides when in costume - so her Kree-style helmet can form when she needs it.
Can’t wait for the series to launch! I love Carol Danvers, and Kelly Sue is one of my favourite writers. More details here.

Not quite as powerful without the lead-up, but Superman takes the time to stop and save a girl from suicide, even as Superman himself is dying and has to stop a super-villain, because that’s what Superman does.
For everyone whose had that bad day and needed someone to say the right words.

Black Widow

Jim Sez:
The next time you see some gigantic balloon boobs defying gravity on a female comic book character remind yourself that there are artists like Phil Noto out there who are drawing absolutely gorgeous and physically possible male and female human beings instead of no-joint having, oddly proportioned mutants that grace most comic book art.And how depressing is it that the artists like Phil Noto aren’t the norm?
