There’s just something so… desperate about it.

The notes are just middle class Americans saying “don’t romanticize this horrible poverty UwU real people have to live like this UwU it’s not aesthetic it’s a stark and sobeeing reality of misery and poverty” and Eastern Europeans responding with baffled fury at them because it just looks like their childhood homes or their grandma’s kitchen.
